Davante Adams makes it clear he doesn’t want to leave the Raiders
Over the last several months, chatter about the Las Vegas Raiders has focused on star wide receiver Davante Adams’ future.
The Raiders’ lack of sustained success since Adams’ arrival has generated persistent dialogue that the All-Pro wideout could want a change of scenery. Despite that, the organization has doubled down publicly on keeping the Pro Bowler in tow.
Davante Adams made that notion even clearer by voicing that if he wanted out, it would have happened already.

“If I wanted to be gone, I’d be gone by now,” Adams told reporters from his football camp, according to The Athletic. “This is where I want to be.”
There simply haven’t been any internal rumblings around Adams regarding a desire to be moved from the Raiders. Instead, he’s maintained a strong commitment to the franchise.
Adams initially joined the Raiders in the hope of playing long-term alongside quarterback Derek Carr, who is his former collegiate teammate. That pairing was short-lived as Las Vegas decided to move on from Carr following the 2022 season.

Adams has since remained a significant part of the team’s offensive identity, and he has continued to prove to be one of the league’s top wideouts.
The Raiders haven’t taken strides forward toward Super Bowl contention over the last couple of years. Although, their star wide receiver hasn’t wavered in wanting to stay.
It’s clear that the head coach change from Josh McDaniels to Antonio Pierce has played a factor. Beyond that, the Raiders must become a contending team if they hope to keep Adams committed to the team’s future plans.
