5 NFL value bets on teams to win Super Bowl 55
The 2020 NFL season will be unpredictable and like no other we’ve ever seen. A prudent bettor could consider these Super Bowl outsiders.
5. Philadelphia Eagles (18-1)
The Eagles won the NFC East last season despite ample injuries across the roster. Philadelphia returns most of its major contributors this year while adding rookie receiver Jalen Reagor and cornerback Darius Slay via trade with the Detroit Lions.
If Carson Wentz can stay healthy, the Eagles have an excellent chance at repeating in the NFC East and then driving toward a second title in the past four seasons.
4. Atlanta Falcons (60-1)
This is the long shot on the list. The Falcons really turned things around last year after the midway point, going 6-2 after starting 1-7. The defense was especially better under now-defensive coordinator Raheem Morris, who took over the group from head coach Dan Quinn.

If the defense continues its growth under Morris, the offense should do plenty to keep opponents in a tough spot. Atlanta still has the tandem of Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley on the outside with former MVP quarterback Matt Ryan chucking the ball around. The Falcons are a dangerous team.
3. New Orleans Saints (12-1)
The Saints have one of the most complete rosters in the NFL. Additionally, Drew Brees is 41 years old and might be entering the final year of what is certainly a Hall of Fame career. Brees is surrounded by elite talent in receivers Michael Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders, tight end Jared Cook and running back Alvin Kamara.
If the defense can do its job, New Orleans is going to be a frontrunner once more in the loaded NFC. At 12-to-1, it’s a good play on one of the league’s best teams, led by an experienced hand in head coach Sean Payton.

2. Seattle Seahawks (18-1)
Last year, Seattle was literally one foot away from winning the NFC West and perhaps making a deeper run in the NFC playoffs. However, the Seahawks ended up as a wild card team, beat the Eagles in Philadelphia and then fell to the Green Bay Packers in the Divisional round. Now, Seattle is back and with more talent around quarterback Russell Wilson.
Wilson has top targets in receivers D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, alongside veteran tight end Greg Olsen. The defense is a question mark — especially without edge rusher Jadeveon Clowney — but the addition of All-Pro safety Jamal Adams is a huge acquisition.
1. Pittsburgh Steelers (25-1)
The Steelers ride on Ben Roethlisberger’s health. If he can play, Pittsburgh is going to be a problem in the AFC. At 25-to-1, this is the best value going.
