Seahawks appear interested in signing Antonio Brown

The Seattle Seahawks are a team preparing for what could be a championship run in 2020. Could that run include the much maligned Antonio Brown?

The team has pulled out all the stops and showed their intentions to compete in this upcoming season. Seattle made a statement with the acquisition of All-Pro safety, Jamal Adams.

The addition of Adams is a step into the title-contending conversation in the NFC. With Adams, they can compete with the San Francisco 49ers. The Seahawks no the pressure is on with the 49ers being stacked on both sides of the football while coming off a Super Bowl appearance, but now Seattle may be looking to either complicate things or take another step toward the Vince Lombardi Trophy with some interest in signing troubled superstar Antonio Brown, via Pro Football Talk.

Carroll said General Manager John Schneider is “all over it” and indicated that the team is open to the possibility even if it isn’t rushing to seal a deal right away.

“It’s a very complex situation. We just need to see how it fits somewhere down the road. That’s all I got for you,” Carroll said.

The Antonio Brown saga has been all over the NFL headlines for about more than a year now. He was unhappy with the Pittsburgh Steelers resulting in being traded to the Las Vegas Raiders where he didn’t want to go and forced his way out quickly. This led to an incredibly short stint with Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

After the Patriots parted ways with Brown due to more off-the-field issues, he is now in limbo and freshly suspended by the NFL for eight games for his personal conduct. Not to mention multiple retirement tweets in between all the mayhem.

Now, surprisingly enough, the Seahawks may be his way back into the league even if they have to wait for eight games to get him on the field.
