The defending NFC champion Seattle Seahawks made a bold move in the NFL offseason by acquiring three-time Pro Bowler Jimmy Graham from the New Orleans Saints. The trade came out of nowhere and it convinced many that the Seahawks were serious about upgrading their offense with arguably one of the best tight ends in the league.

Unfortunately, after the first four weeks of the 2015 NFL season, the experiment hasn’t worked as well as anticipated. Graham has been rumored to be unhappy with his role in Seattle after catching only 18 passes in those four games played.

Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell talked about the challenge of getting Graham more involved in the offense. Bevell insists the team is doing everything they can to get him more involved, via Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times:

“It’s always going to be a question for us, I know that. We’re doing everything we can to try to get everybody involved in the offense. We want Jimmy to catch balls, I know you’ll probably ask me that every week. We want him involved, we want him to catch balls, there’s a lot of things that we ask him to do, whether it’s catching, whether it’s blocking, whether it’s being a decoy. You can just go on and on, and we expect him to do it the best that he can.”

Heading into Week 5 against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Seahawks are sporting a 2-2 record while coming off of two straight wins over the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions. Despite the win streak, the Seahawks have yet to prove they can be elite teams this season with the Green Bay Packers beating Seattle in Week 2 and a mediocre St. Louis Rams besting them in Week 1.

In Week 5, the Seahawks will be tested yet again against the undefeated Bengals (4-0). According to Sportsbook.ag, Seattle will be underdogs on the road at +3. Cincinnati will be a tough opponent on their home field and may end up sending the Seahawks back below .500 this week.
