Warriors expected to sign Steph Curry to a $200 million deal
Golden State Warriors guard and two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry is about to become the highest-paid player in the history of the Association.
According to ESPN’s Marc Stein, Curry will sign a five-year, $201 million contract to remain with the Warriors for the next five seasons.

It’s always been a foregone conclusion that Curry would return to Oakland after leading his team to two NBA titles over the past three seasons.
He’s now set to create a new mountain top for other top-end players to climb over moving forward. Needless to say, the $200-plus million deal is something Curry himself has earned. He’s been among the lowest-paid professional athletes over the past three seasons.
Again, this isn’t what we would call a surprise. It’s also part of the Warriors’ plans after they signed Kevin Durant last season. With three consecutive NBA Finals appearances, Golden State is on track to continue dominating the NBA. The only difference here is that Curry will be paid handsomely for it.
