NFL power rankings, NFC edition: Packers rolling
The Green Bay Packers are atop our NFL power rankings for the NFC, sitting at 11-3 and playing terrific football.
16. Detroit Lions
Give Dan Campbell and the Lions a ton of credit. They haven’t quit, and they’re seeing some positive results.
15. Chicago Bears
The Bears are a complete embarrassment. They literally look like they don’t know what sports they’re playing, while the coach appears to think he’s at the grocery store.
14. New York Giants

13. Carolina Panthers
Matt Rhule was hired by the Panthers for his offensive genius, but Carolina has had three quarterbacks this year and none of them are competent.
12. Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks take on the Rams on Tuesday, and if they win, they’re somehow only one game out of a playoff spot in the NFC.

11. Atlanta Falcons
Arthur Smith deserves credit for this team being 6-8, because the amount of talent is staggeringly low across the roster.
10. Minnesota Vikings
Minnesota beat the Bears in one of the sport’s most hideous games, and is tied for the No. 7 seed at 7-7. Congrats?
9. Washington Football Team
If Washington can beat the Eagles on Tuesday night, it’ll be 7-7 and with a soft schedule ahead in the NFC East, have a real shot to get into the postseason.
8. Philadelphia Eagles
The exact same sentence as above, but just flip the names of the teams.
7. New Orleans Saints
New Orleans pulled one of the season’s biggest stunners on Sunday night, winning 9-0 at Tampa Bay. The Saints have a legit shot to win out.
6. San Francisco 49ers
After weathering some injuries earlier in the year, the 49ers are on a roll and now go into Tennessee as a favorite against a team which only weeks ago was the AFC’s top seed.
5. Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals have lost two straight including a blowout defeat against the Lions. They need to get right against a tough Colts team.

4. Dallas Cowboys
Dallas is suddenly playing great defense while the offense continues to try and find itself with Dak Prescott scuffling a bit.
3. Los Angeles Rams
If the Rams can win out, and the Cowboys win out, Los Angeles would not only be the NFC West champion but also the NFC’s No. 3 seed. Not bad.
2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Losing Chris Godwin for the season is a massive loss considering how good he is in both the run and passing games for Tampa Bay.
