NFL Week 16 2022: A case for each favorite
Looking at the NFL Week 16 odds, we make the case for how each favorite will not only win but cover their respective spreads.
Jacksonville Jaguars at New York Jets (-1)
This is a home game on a short week. The Jets know that a loss ends their season. They’ll be fighting very, very hard.
Buffalo Bills (-9) at Chicago Bears
Buffalo is in for a fight with the Bears, who continue to play everyone close. However, the Bills haven’t lost in over a month, and their firepower will pull away.
New Orleans Saints at Cleveland Browns (-3)
The Browns are a much more dangerous team with Deshaun Watson under center. Meanwhile, the Saints have underachieved all year.
Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans (-7)
This is it for the Titans, who have lost four straight and now hold only a one-game lead over the Jaguars in the AFC South.

Seattle Seahawks at Kansas City Chiefs (-9.5)
It’s going to be frigid in Kansas City on Sunday, and the Chiefs, after horrid showings against the Broncos and Texans, will be motivated to have a get-right game.
New York Giants at Minnesota Vikings (-3)
The Vikings are riding an incredible high after coming back from 33-0 down against the Colts.
Cincinnati Bengals (-3.5) at New England Patriots
Cincinnati might be playing the best ball of any team in the AFC, while the Patriots have to be emotionally reeling from their impossible loss on Sunday.
Detroit Lions (-2.5) at Carolina Panthers
The Lions are simply a much better team than the Panthers, who are playing their best football right now.
Atlanta Falcons at Baltimore Ravens (-7)
Desmond Ridder might develop into a great quarterback. He’s far from one right now.

Washington Commanders at San Francisco 49ers (-7)
Nobody is playing better defense than the Niners. It’ll be tough for Washington to score more than 14 points.
Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys (-6)
The Eagles will be without Jalen Hurts and have nothing to play for.
Las Vegas Raiders at Pittsburgh Steelers (-2.5)
The Steelers are at home in primetime. Tough spot for the Raiders.
Green Bay Packers at Miami Dolphins (-6)
Aaron Rodgers and Co. know they must run the table to have a chance. Meanwhile, the Dolphins are reeling with three straight losses.
Denver Broncos (-1) at Los Angeles Rams
Don’t bet this game. Don’t be that person.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-5.5) at Arizona Cardinals
No team is begging for the offseason more than the Cardinals. As bad as Tampa is, even the Bucs should win by a touchdown here.
Los Angeles Chargers (-4) at Indianapolis Colts
The Chargers are, well, charging, and the Colts are toast.
