NFL Week 18 schedule: Case to bet each favorite
With the NFL Week 18 schedule here, let’s look at the docket and figure out why betting the favorites is a good call.
Kansas City Chiefs (-10) at Denver Broncos
The Chiefs are trying to wrap up the No. 2 seed in the AFC — at worst — while the Broncos are trying to figure out what tee times are available.
Dallas Cowboys (-7) at Philadelphia Eagles
Philadelphia is dealing with an outbreak of COVID and the Cowboys are apparently planning to play most if not all of their starters on Saturday.
Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings (-2.5)
The Bears are horrific and the Vikings are at home, trying to finish up the season at a borderline 8-9. Rough year for both sides.
Cincinnati Bengals (-3) at Cleveland Browns
Cincinnati might be trying to play for the No. 1 seed if the Chiefs were to lose on Saturday. Also, the Browns are going to be without Baker Mayfield.
Green Bay Packers (-2.5) at Detroit Lions
Even with their backups, the Packers are the better team. Detroit has been waiting to end the season since it began.

Indianapolis Colts (-15.5) at Jacksonville Jaguars
Have you seen the Jaguars? They’re the most dysfunctional team in football. As for the Colts, if they win, they are in the postseason.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens (-5.5)
Baltimore might be getting Lamar Jackson back, and if he’s there, they’ll have a good chance to knock off the Steelers in their own building.
Tennessee Titans (-10.5) at Houston Texans
The Titans know that with a win they have home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs. It’ll be tough for the Texans to stop them.
Washington Football Team (-6.5) at New York Giants
The Giants literally don’t have a quarterback. Tough to make a case for New York in this one, even against a bad team.
Carolina Panthers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-8)
The Buccaneers are going to hammer the Panthers, who have won two games since Week 3 ended.

New York Jets at Buffalo Bills (-16.5)
Buffalo needs to beat the Jets to finish off the AFC East race, and the Jets are the unwitting victim.
New England Patriots (-6.5) at Miami Dolphins
Provided the Patriots play all their starters, they should handle a Dolphins team with all their proverbial wind out of their sails after last weekend.
New Orleans Saints (-4.5) at Atlanta Falcons
The Saints are playing for a spot in the playoffs while Atlanta is looking forward to the end of the season.
San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams (-4)
The Rams are trying to wrap up the NFC West, and while the Niners are in the postseason with a victory, they don’t have a quarterback.
Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals (-6.5)
The Seahawks are beyond finished, and the Cardinals are still hopeful they can win the West.
Los Angeles Chargers (-3) at Las Vegas Raiders
The Chargers are a better team in a must-win for both sides. Take the talent and the superior quarterback.
