NFL Week 18 schedule: Case to bet each underdog
It’s time to glance at the NFL Week 18 schedule and make an argument for each underdog, tough as it may be in some cases.
Kansas City Chiefs (-10) at Denver Broncos
It’s going to take a stellar defensive effort and Drew Lock avoiding his penchant for horrid turnovers.
Dallas Cowboys (-7) at Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles and Cowboys both have nothing significant to play for, perhaps putting this in a place where Philadelphia covers.
Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings (-2.5)
Minnesota is getting ready for a house-cleaning, and that has a way of un-motivating guys.
Cincinnati Bengals (-3) at Cleveland Browns
The Bengals are likely going to be resting most of their key players.
Green Bay Packers (-2.5) at Detroit Lions
The Lions are getting the Packers in a week where nobody of note should see a single snap.

Indianapolis Colts (-15.5) at Jacksonville Jaguars
The Colts haven’t win in Jacksonville since 2014, and the Jags almost beat the Colts earlier this year after splitting last year (despite going 1-15).
Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens (-5.5)
In this rivalry, you always take the points.
Tennessee Titans (-10.5) at Houston Texans
The Texans have fought hard all year and have a decent defense in recent weeks. They can definitely keep this within a score and maybe pull the upset.
Washington Football Team (-6.5) at New York Giants
It’s going to be about defense, because the Giants are the worst offensive team in the league at this point.
Carolina Panthers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-8)
If the Bucs rest all of their starters and then forget there’s a football game, perhaps the Panthers win. All kidding aside, the starters thing should do it.
New York Jets at Buffalo Bills (-16.5)
The power of prayer. Buffalo is extremely motivated. It’ll take turnovers, and plenty of them.

New England Patriots (-6.5) at Miami Dolphins
Miami always plays the Patriots well, especially at home. These teams aren’t all that different in their build. Expect a close game.
New Orleans Saints (-4.5) at Atlanta Falcons
Huge rivalry, and the Falcons are at home with the better quarterback. They can absolutely cover and maybe even win.
San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams (-4)
The 49ers have beaten the Rams in each of their past five matchups. Kyle Shanahan owns Sean McVay at this point.
Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals (-6.5)
Russell Wilson and Pete Carroll could be in their final game together, and beating a division rival would be quite the capper.
Los Angeles Chargers (-3) at Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders are at home, winners of three straight, and playing the most inconsistent good team in the NFL.
